Passed!

In August this year I decided to expand my knowledge of gems given I am learning to set them in my jewellery. I signed up for the GemINTRO Level 2 Gemmology award online introduction course and just completed it today and passed! It covers so many different topics and covered so many gems (yes - there was gem shopping along the way :)) -- some I'd heard of and many I hadn't! Eleven chapters covering every aspect -- the history, sources, properties, lore -- from mine to market. I haven't studied for a long time so this was a challenge but totally worth it!
